We often encounter customers who dislike the appearance of solar screens, so they opt for window tint instead. However, many of them later complain that their rooms still get hot even with window tint. For such cases, adding solar screens solves their heat issue. Even if you already have tint, you still need exterior shading to block the sun's rays from hitting the glass. Tint only prevents the sun's rays from passing through the glass and does nothing to stop the window from becoming hot and radiating heat into the home.
